Welcome to SocioMav. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website development services. By enquiring, booking, or paying for any service with SocioMav, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Services Offered
SocioMav provides WordPress-based website development services, including but not limited to:
- 1 Page Website Design
- Up to 5 Page Website Design
- E-commerce (WooCommerce) Website Development
Each package includes the specific features listed on our pricing page at the time of booking (such as hosting, domain, SSL certificate, and support duration). The exact inclusions for your package will be shared and confirmed with you before payment.
2. Payment Terms
- All projects require a 50% advance payment before work begins, and the remaining 50% before the website is made live.
- The advance payment confirms your booking and reserves our design/development slot.
- Once the website is built, a demo link will be shared for your review. The final 50% payment is due before the site is published live and handed over.
- All prices mentioned are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change for new bookings; the price agreed upon at the time of booking will remain fixed for that project.
3. Revisions Policy
- Every package includes 1 round of revisions on the initial design/demo.
- Revisions cover reasonable changes to content, layout, colors, or images already discussed in the original scope.
- Additional revisions beyond the included round, or requests that significantly change the original scope (e.g., adding new pages, sections, or functionality not part of the original package), may be chargeable and will be quoted separately before work begins.
4. Hosting & Domain
- Every package includes 1 year of free web hosting and 1 year of free domain registration (.in or .com), as applicable to the selected package.
- From the second year onward, hosting and domain renewal costs are the client’s responsibility. Renewal pricing will be communicated in advance and is subject to prevailing rates at the time of renewal.
- Domain ownership is registered in the client’s name/details as provided by the client at the time of setup. SocioMav is not responsible for domain disputes arising from incorrect information provided by the client.
5. Content & Assets Provided by Client
- The client is responsible for providing all necessary content, including text, images, logos, and other assets required for the website, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- SocioMav is not responsible for delays in project delivery caused by delayed submission of content or assets from the client’s end.
- The client confirms that all content, images, and materials provided are either owned by them or they have the right to use them. SocioMav is not liable for any copyright or trademark issues arising from client-provided content.
6. No Hidden Costs Policy
- The prices listed for each package are complete and inclusive of hosting, domain, SSL, and the features mentioned at the time of booking.
- In rare cases where a specific requested feature requires a paid third-party plugin, theme, or tool, SocioMav will inform the client of the exact additional cost before any such purchase or implementation. No such cost will be added to the bill without prior client approval.
7. Delivery Timeline
- Standard delivery timelines are communicated at the time of booking (typically 3–7 business days for standard packages, depending on package complexity).
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity, revision requests, and timely submission of content by the client.
8. Support & AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)
- Every package includes 6 months of free technical support from the date the website goes live, covering minor bug fixes and technical assistance.
- After the free support period, clients may opt for an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) at ₹999/year, covering security updates, backups, and minor support. AMC is optional and not mandatory to keep the website functional.
- Support does not cover content updates, redesigns, or new feature additions unless separately agreed upon.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- The advance payment (50%) is non-refundable once work has begun on the project, as it covers time, design, and development effort already invested.
- If the client cancels the project before any work has commenced, the advance amount may be refunded at SocioMav’s discretion, minus any applicable processing charges.
- No refunds will be issued after the website has been delivered and made live.
10. Client Responsibilities
- The client agrees to respond to communication (WhatsApp/email/calls) in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
- The client agrees to review the demo website carefully and communicate all revision requests within the agreed revision window.
11. Limitation of Liability
- SocioMav will make reasonable efforts to ensure the website functions as intended at the time of delivery. However, SocioMav is not liable for:
- Losses arising from third-party service outages (hosting provider, domain registrar, payment gateway, etc.)
- Content-related legal issues arising from material provided by the client
- Business losses, loss of revenue, or indirect damages arising from website downtime or performance issues beyond our control
12. Ownership
- Upon full and final payment, the client owns the website content and design created specifically for them.
- Any third-party themes, plugins, or tools used remain subject to their respective licenses and are not owned by SocioMav or transferred as proprietary assets.
13. Changes to These Terms
SocioMav reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with courts in West Bengal having exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
